张瑞芹, 北京大学化学学士学位和物理化学硕士学位;日本筑波大学环境科学博士。1989-1998 年在河南省化工研究所工作,任所副总工程师,1998-至今郑州大学教授,担任郑州大学环境科学研究院副院长、郑州市环境科学与技术重点实验室和河南省环境化学与低碳技术重点实验室主任,并多次到美国、日本和瑞典做访问学者。

长期从事大气环境与能源影响研究和生物质能源利用研究,包括灰霾形成机制、区域可持续发展与大气环境污染防治、节能减碳和生物质热化学转化技术等。负责并完成二十项余项国家重点研发专项、国家环保部公益项目、国家自然科学基金项目、节能减碳国际合作重大项目、省市重大攻关项目等。获得河南省科技进步二等奖2 项、专利6 项,著书一部,发表科学论文100余篇。
